What is Skyrim Together?

Skyrim Together is a passion project, created through the piece of work of a small team of volunteers. The aim of the mod is to develop a "true" Skyrim multiplayer feel that intends to bring online multiplayer into this otherwise strictly single thespian game. Our focus is to create a co-op similar feel for about 2-8 players, non an MMO.

Our ultimate goal is to create a issues-free experience, where Skyrim tin be played beginning to terminate without any major alterations to the vanilla experience, even so other mods can be used in conjunction, every bit well.

Release date / Download

Support for Oldrim (Legendary or none Special Edition) has been dropped due to difficulties in development and stability of the game itself.

Skyrim Together does not support pirated copies of the game.

It doesn't affair whether or not you lot have the DLCs for Skyrim. All that matters is that you're on the latest steam version of the game. DLC Acts like mods and should work like.

VR compatibility

Correct at present nosotros practise non back up Skyrim VR. We volition be having a wait into it eventually, only no promises that we volition actually get it working. Servers and LAN play

Currently in the nightly builds, all servers are hosted by the customs. Anyone can host a server and the server host tin can modify a few settings to their liking. Even LAN play is possible (including services similar Hamachi).

We do not accept a server limit, so you will be able to play at whatsoever time. Every server volition technically support up to 64 players at a time. Although, we recommend playing with smaller parties of 2-viii people as that is what nosotros have primarily tested it on.

Gameplay and general

Characters

Earlier you are able to connect or create a session, you will kickoff have to complete the character creation and play through the "Helgen Escape," aka the " Unbound " quest.

Saving and loading

The current version of the Nightly Builds is unstable and may cause save abuse. Information technology's recommended to salvage frequently and to avert scripted events like quests.

Saves work like normal, yous can continue to apply your character that you played Skyrim Together with offline and vice versa.

Houses / homes

Every player will be able to buy the aforementioned house and the interior will be synchronized as it is handled locally. However, if you and others have different upgrades, then you won't meet each other. We do non aim to synchronize this either earlier initial release, and as such, if y'all want the same house, you lot must buy/build the same upgrades.

Transformations

You lot are able to become a werewolf and vampire in our mod, which is fully synchronized. You tin can use the Vampiric Seduction spell on your friends (unless they are level 10 or higher (at which point they volition resist the spell)). Dialogue

Dialogue will initially not exist synchronized. We volition try to synchronize this later on initial release.

Objects

Currently placement of objects (similar chairs, anvils, carpets) aren't synced, however we plan to have this functionality implemented eventually.
